Set to release his debut EP Finding Milly’s Address in June, Giovanni Agosta – better known as Gio – delivered the first taste of what’s in store with ‘Old Dusty Road’ earlier this month. Now, he has released a video clip for the track.
A huge leap from his beginnings in hip hop, the single continues Agosta’s newfound acoustic sound. Featuring sombre strummings, forlorn lyrics and heartfelt vocals, ‘Old Dusty Road’ is enough to give you chills.
Like the track itself, the film clip follows a sprawling tale of regret and missed opportunities. Spanning a rising career as a musician and the consequential demise of a relationship, the clip reflects on success and the price we’re willing to pay to achieve it.
