New South Wales’ Fairgrounds Festival has unveiled a stellar lineup of local and international artists. By now, you should have seen the headline and realised what you gotta do.
Headlining this year’s Fairgrounds Festival is none other than Oasis co-frontman Liam Gallagher, hot off the heels of his Glastonbury performance. The UK rocker isn’t the only star on the festival slate, though, with indie rockers DMA’s, Dope Lemon aka Angus Stone, Meg Mac, Nilüfer Yanya and Julia Jacklin all locked in for the picturesque summer event. To celebrate 20 years of The Captain, Aussie country legend Kasey Chambers will be heading to the Fairgrounds stage and performing the album in full.
Music aside, Fairgrounds’ lush lawns will also be home to some delicious, fresh oysters, wine bars and a promising record fair. And don’t forget to bring your bathers so you can take a dip in the festival’s swimming pool.
