Fitzroy Tex-Mex haven El Camino Cantina is reopening to the public this month, and they’ve got a heap of specials up their sleeves that’ll have you salivating.
The doors will swing open on Wednesday June 24 with 10c Wing Wednesday, a weekly favourite which will have you stuffing your face with succulent buffalo wings like there’s no tomorrow. They’ll also be bringing back their weekday Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm, so your visit really won’t break the bank.
And of course, they’ll be reviving Taco Tuesdays too, with options ranging from grilled pork shoulder with pineapple salsa, smokey BBQ sauce and coriander to black beans with avocado, pomegranate, jalapenos and coriander.
If you miss out on Happy Hour, fear not! You can always wash it down with the margarita of the month – June’s flavour is passionfruit and yes, it’s as juicy and refreshing as it sounds.
As for the rest of the week, you can stuff yourself silly with El Camino Cantina’s three course Tex-Mex feast and two-hour beverage package any day you like, because after months of eating takeaway and cooking at home, you deserve to treat yourself.
