Fatboy Slim is hitting Revolver Upstairs next week to raise money for bushfire relief

Fatboy Slim

Eat, sleep, rave, repeat.

Slated to kick off his Australian tour at Sidney Myer Music Bowl tonight, party king Fatboy Slim has revealed he’ll be popping into Revolver Upstairs for a sneaky set while he’s in town.

When we caught up with the electronic craftsman recently, he spoke about his love for small-scale sets in clubs and intimate venues. “When I play in a little dirty club, I can have fun. So selfishly, I have more fun playing in the small venues because I can just do more, I can take more risks and go on a journey with the crowd,” he said.

With a run of massive outdoor shows on the horizon, it seems the groove master has decided to have a little fun with his newly announced Revolver set.

As well as giving him a chance to flex his creativity in front of a crowd, the new gig will also raise money for bushfire relief services.

Proceeds will go to the Australian Red Cross’ Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund as well as Wildlife Victoria.

Fatboy Slim hits Revolver Upstairs on Tuesday January 28. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite
