WOMADelaide reveals world-class festival lineup for 2020

NGAIIRE

A curated program like no other.

The four-day WOMADelaide spectacular has unveiled its star-studded, worldly lineup. The 2020 slate comes complete with artists from Australia, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Iran and other destinations around the globe.

Leading the charge next year is eight-time Grammy Award-winner Ziggy Marley. The son of Bob Marley has released eight records with The Melody Makers and seven solo albums, in addition to earning a Daytime Emmy for his track ‘I Love You Too’. Also just announced for the lineup are UK folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling, samba rock legend Jorge Ben Jor and Aussie Eurovision star Kate Miller-Heidke, among others.

Last month, the festival dropped the first 20 names gearing up to head to Adelaide Botanic Park in early March, including Aldous Harding, Mavis Staples, Sleaford Mods and As the World Tipped, an aerial show blending elements of dance, theatrics and projections to illustrate the threats of climate change.
