It all kicks off from 8pm.
Social distancing has us all missing human interaction and gravitating to social media and online exchanges more than ever. To help bridge the gap we’re all experiencing, we’ve launched a new Instagram Live interview series.
Hosted by comedian, podcaster and Beat contributor Fergus Neal, Ferg Goes Live With will feature interviews with everyone from musicians and comedians to the Co-Founder of Netflix and an acclaimed moral philosopher.
The most recent instalment saw Ferg chat to rising Aussie-Sri Lankan comedian Dilruk Jayasinha and tonight, he’ll be joined by Tim Nelson from Brisbane alt-pop favourites, Cub Sport.
The band were supposed to be in the midst of their ‘Confessions’ tour at the moment, promoting the newly released single of the same name, though they were forced to cancel due to coronavirus shutdowns. Join us tonight as we chat to Nelson about music, forced gig cancellations, the postponement of the release of their forthcoming album Like Nirvana and everything in between.
As an added treat, Nelson will perform the new single ‘Drive’ from Cub Sport’s upcoming album when he joins us for Ferg Goes Live With. It’s going to be very special, so be sure to tune in.
Tune in at 8pm tonight at @beatmagazine. Ferg Goes Live With is happening on our Instagram at 8pm every Tuesday and Thursday.
Never miss a story. Sign up to Beat’s newsletter and you’ll be served fresh music, arts, food and culture stories three times a week.
