The 30-minute special will raise money for COVID-19 aid.
The cast of Parks and Recreation will reunite for a special one-off episode of the beloved sitcom next week to raise money for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
The 30-minute episode will see the entire core cast returning to Pawnee, including Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Aziz Ansari, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Jim O’Heir and Retta.
Written by the show’s co-creator Mike Schur, the episode will explore staying connected while social distancing with some surprise cameos from a slate of special guests promised.
The episode will air on NBC next week, making it tricky for Australian audiences to watch it legally, though considering the show’s popularity it feels safe to assume it will be made available for viewing outside the US after its premiere.
