As if Oktoberfest wasn’t big enough already, now Munich Bruahaus, The Bavarian and The Bavarian Beerhaus are stretching the celebrations across six weeks.
From September 22 to October 27, you’ll be able to take part in traditional feasting, try limited edition beers on tap and get involved in foodie challenges, which could win you a trip to Munich.
Things kick off at opening weekend, where Munich Brauhaus in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will be throwing street parties with live entertainment, a sausage eating competition, and a Dogs of Oktoberfest event, so you can bring your furry pal along.
Revelers in Melbourne can also take part in Australia’s Largest Oktoberfest Chicken Dance event on Saturday October 6 at Munich Brauhaus, which probably won’t seem so weird after knocking back a few steins.
