Time to get groovy.
To celebrate their new single, ‘Stretch’, cosmic wanderers Sunnyside are throwing a single launch at Melbourne’s John Curtin Hotel.
Rapidly on the rise, the last 12 months has seen the six-piece grace the festival stages of Hopkins Creek, NYE on the Hill, Something Unlimited and more alongside a special slot at 2019’s Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Here they also sold out two headline shows and a double headline show accompanying renowned Japanese funk group, Osaka Monaurail.
The show’s don’t stop from here either. Having just played Kennedy’s Creek Music Festival last weekend, Sunnyside have another festival slot forthcoming at Happy Wanderer as well as one for Melbourne Music Week, alongside similarly ethereal Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange and Loure.
Sunnyside’s 2018 album Body Heat catapulted the band into the Melbourne and international music consciousness – the record’s incessant groove playing to disco-lovers all around the world.
