It’ll be the Bad Seeds’ first studio album in three years.

In what can only be described as peak behaviour, Australian man of mystery Nick Cave has announced a new double album will be released next week.

Taking to his blog The Red Hand Files, the Bad Seeds frontman has revealed the new release will be titled Ghosteen and contain 11 tracks spread across two albums. Most notably, the second album “consists of two long songs, linked by a spoken word piece”.

Described as a “migrating spirit”, Cave said Ghosteen’s first eight tracks are “the children” and the final three tracks are “the parents”. What this could possibly mean is anyone’s guess.

Check out the tracklist for Ghosteen below:

Part one:

‘The Spinning Song’
‘Bright Horses’
‘Waiting For You’
‘Night Raid’
‘Sun Forest’
‘Galleon Ship’
‘Ghosteen Speaks’
‘Leviathan’

Part two:

‘Ghosteen’
‘Fireflies’
‘Hollywood’
