Music Victoria unveils winners of its Live Music Professionals program

20 participants will receive coaching services to boost their business needs.

The winners of the 2019 Live Music Professionals program have been revealed, with staff from venues and entertainment companies set to get a leg up in their professional careers.

Music Victoria’s Live Music Professionals programme is a completely free business coaching initiative aiming to build stronger live music businesses throughout Victoria. The program matches emerging figures from the music industry, such as venue owners, bookers and promoters, with more experienced members. From there, the successful applicants get access to coaching sessions, workshops, masterclasses, conferences and networking opportunities.

Kicking off on Tuesday July 2, program winners will be invited to a conference with guest speakers from Love Police Touring, Falls Festival, the Australian Festivals Association and more. Training will also be provided to accommodate for more inclusive gigs, audience diversity and safety.
