Having already revealed LA songwriter Ariel Pink, the nine-day celebration of Melbourne’s music scene has just announced a huge host of events to go along.

Some of the city’s most exciting labels, promoters and musicians will perform across three levels of the Melbourne Town Hall as part of Miscellanea. Going down on Sunday November 19, the bill features the likes of HTRK, Underground Lovers, Tyrannamen, Loose Tooth, Taipan Tiger Girls, friendships and CORIN. The artists will collaborate with Melbourne’s foremost indie record labels, including Milk!, Wondercore Island and Aarght, to prepare a music spectacular.

On Wednesday November 22, the Age Music Victoria Awards After Party will celebrate its 12th year with a huge lineup of stellar bands. Producer Harvey Sutherland will be joined by his live act, Bermuda, while Gold Class, Cable Ties, and The EG Allstars (featuring members of the Rockwiz Orchestra) will also perform alongside guest singers Archie Roach, Gretta Ray, Jim Lawrie, Josh Teskey, Mojo Juju, Michelle Nicolle, Birdz, Ella Thompson and more.

Finally, there’s a street party for the ages going down in Tattersalls Lane. Section 8 and Ferdydurke bring you ZOO – a vivacious fusion of live music, performance and visual art. Now in its fifth year, the ZOO party is an evolution of the much-loved Live Music Safari program. Boasting Briggs alongside international favourites Fatima & Alexander Nut, Weird Together and AFTA-1 this will be something to remember. ZOO goes down on Saturday November 25.
