Do good, look great.
Levi’s has once again partnered with musician wellbeing organisation Support Act to make sure you’ve got something to wear when Ausmusic T-Shirt Day rolls around.
Each year, Australian music lovers trawl their closets in search of the perfect threads ahead of Ausmusic T-Shirt Day, a national celebration of our local music scene. The brainchild of triple j and ARIA, Ausmusic T-Shirt Day began in 2014 as a way to celebrate Ausmusic Month as well as encourage music lovers to support their favourite artists through buying their merch.
Soon after, Support Act got on board, taking the opportunity to raise money for music workers, crew and musicians suffering from mental health issues, experiencing a crisis or in need of support.
In 2018, Levi’s teamed up with Support Act to launch Australia’s first mental health and support helpline for local musicians and music industry workers. This year, Levi’s has partnered with Angus and Julia Stone, Ruel, Ocean Alley, Parkway Drive, Tkay Maidza and INXS to create six limited-edition tees, with 100 per cent of net proceeds going directly to Support Act.
While you may already have a closet bursting with band tees, you can never have too many — especially when you know your dollars are going towards a good cause.
Collab with @LEVIS and @SupportAct, who are helping artists and music workers who are facing hardship due to illness, injury or other crisis. 100% of net proceeds from sales donated to Support Act. #ausmusictshirtday #mentalhealthawareness
