AFTRS’ Podcasting Fundamentals course is helping aspiring podcasters get their start.

The nation’s premier screen arts and broadcast school, the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), produces creative radio and podcasting professionals who are shaping the future of the Australian broadcast and podcast industry.

Our alumni are working in positions with Australia’s largest media organisations including ABC, Guardian Australia, 2Day FM, Mamamia, The Kyle & Jackie O Show, KIIS FM, Nova, triple j, Double J, Podcast One and more.

AFTRS offers a range of courses designed specifically to meet the needs of the Australian radio and podcast industry and are firmly based in practical craft development. Among the School’s offerings is the upcoming Podcasting Fundamentals course. Delivered entirely online over six weeks, aspiring podcasters will have the opportunity to learn the basics, from idea to creation.

Under the direction of Madeline Joannou, an industry professional with over 14 years’ experience, AFTRS’ Podcasting Fundamentals online course is the perfect place for podcasters who want to gain practical and applicable skills to take their ideas to the next level.
