Could this mean there’s a new Bon Iver album in the works?

Over the weekend, Justin Vernon endorsed presidential candidate for the Democratic Party, Bernie Sanders, by performing via live stream as part of Sanders’ “Virtual Town Hall” rally.

In addition to performing ‘Towers’, ‘Blood Bank’ and a cover of Bob Dylan’s ‘With God On Our Side’, Vernon debuted a new Bon Iver song titled ‘Things Behind Things Behind Things’.

Making little fuss about the new track, he simply introduced it by saying, “I’ll try to play a new song: ‘Things Behind Things Behind Things’.

This isn’t the first time Vernon has shown his support for Sanders, also appearing at a rally in Iowa earlier this year.

The man behind the ever-elusive Bon Iver has also been teasing new music on Instagram, suggesting the follow up to last year’s i,i may already be in the works.
