Justin Townes Earle announces Australian tour.
Justin Townes Earle, the up-and-coming muso kid of legendary singer-songwriter, Steve Earle, is on his way to Australia.
Earle, who has been said to channel the energy of artists such as Lightnin’ Hopkins, Woody Guthrie, Buck Owens, Gram Parsons and the man for whom he was named, Townes van Zandt, has recently released his third album, the critically acclaimed Harem River Blues. His tour will include the Victorian festivals Golden Plains, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Mossvale Music Festival as well as appearances in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Adelaide and Perth.
Special guests on the tour are Joe Pug and Lanie Lane. Tour dates are as follows:

March 13 & 14 – Port Fairy Folk Festival, Port Fairy
March 18 – Forum, Melbourne
March 19 – Mossvale, Mossvale Park
