Julia Zemiro’s classic TV show ‘Home Delivery’ is making its return

What a treat!

The ABC has just announced the return of Julia Zemiro’s beloved TV series Home Delivery for its eighth season. Returning on Wednesday May 20, the series will see Zemiro explore the nation as she talks to influential people who are making a positive change to the world.

Some of the names to expect from this year’s Home Delivery include everyone’s favourite doctor, Dr Karl, as well as outspoken politician Jacqui Lambie, actor and activist Yael Stone alongside singer-songwriter Casey Donovan, legendary film director Gillian Armstrong and so many more.

“Little did we know when we were filming this eighth series of Home Delivery that the world would soon be in lockdown,” Julia Zemiro said in a press release. “Presenting these shows to an audience now feels a bit more special. I’m so thrilled we can share with you eight brilliant people walking us through their past and reflecting on the future… a future they had no idea would include coronavirus.”

The most recent season of Home Delivery came in 2019 and saw Zemiro chat to the likes of gardening guru Costa Georgiadis, famous author Bill Bryson, former cricketer Ian Chappell, comedian Judith Lucy and so many more across ten episodes.

A trailer has yet to be released but you can check out a recap of season 1 here:
