That’s right, we have SoundCloud now.

We’re pretty dang excited to introduce to you a special series for electronic music lovers: the Beats by Beat mix series.

First up in the series is Tape Leisure, a local Melbourne label with a vision to share great quality music and give friends and like-minded people a platform to release their tunes without having to jump through the usual label hoops.

The duo behind the label, Liam Thompson and Tony Bracey, define their sound as groove-ready celestial house infused with Balearic break-beat. You can find them raising hands and swinging hips at Black Cat, Fiftyfive, Howler, Lounge (RIP), Workshop, Loop or Ferdydurke.

The crew have collaborated with Brisbane warehouse icon Penelope Two-Five, plus locals Manhattan Discrete and Cadence Current, also found through European label Lobster Theremin. Both Grant Turismo (Liam) and T.Bracey (Tony) are each releasing banging new EPs later this year on the label, as well as the rest of Cadence Current’s EP.

Keep an ear and eye out for upcoming gigs which will include some exclusive live sets. But for now, kick back and listen as they make you feel real damn good.
