Ferla drop new single, announce launch show

Melbourne four-piece synth-pop darlings Ferla have released their latest single ‘The Human Heart’ today, delivering an upbeat, sad-banger that’ll get your feet moving and your heart breaking all in one beautiful hit.

“‘The Human Heart’ is a celebration of the artlessness of love, the fun and stupidity of it. The heart is incomprehensible. More songs should be written about it,” says vocalist and songwriter Giuliano Ferla of the single.

The release is accompanied by a film clip for the track which displays the band performing in the rundown, semi-demolished Carringbush Hotel in Collingwood. The band, who worked with Chris Matthews (The Drones, Tropical Fuck Storm) for the clip, had an entirely different film clip planned but were forced to make other plans after being rained out of their outdoor shoot. The result is an endearing yet simplistic effort which can be seen below:

Ferla will be launching the new track with a live performance at The Grace Darling in September.
