Amyl & The Sniffers, Vampire Weekend and John Farnham locked in for Falls Festival

Vampire Weekend

It’s looking like a good start to 2020.

Falls Festival has revealed the first group of acts for its eclectic 2019 lineup, with a heavy dose of international acts leading the charge.

Headlining this year’s multi-state event is US pop legend Halsey. With a new album supposedly on the way this year, Falls will be home to Halsey’s only Aussie shows. Speaking of new albums, Vampire Weekend are making their glorious return to Falls this year, with a brand new record under their belt.

Repping the home ground are electronic duo Peking Duk, multi-instrumentalist Dope Lemon, folk-pop singer-songwriter Vera Blue, punk rockers Amyl & The Sniffers, ‘Clumsy Love’ icon Thelma Plum and many more.

Continuing the growing trend of music festivals embracing the meme-factor, ‘You’re The Voice’ singer John Farnham will be road tripping around the country as part of this year’s lineup. Tash Sultana, What So Not, Wolfmother and Matt Corby have also been locked in as special guests, each of them appearing at one of the four festival locations.
