Box Hill Institute will host a Creativity & Technology Showcase on Thursday May 27.
Priding themselves on their ‘practical, personal and flexible’ approach to learning, Box Hill Institute hasn’t earned its reputation as one of Australia’s leading vocational and higher education providers for nothing.
Across the institute’s three Melbourne campuses – Box Hill, Lilydale and in the CBD – aspirers in everything from hospitality to music, photography, art and design, technology, social media marketing, beauty and beyond, have the opportunity to get a fantastic head start in their careers.

This will be solidified at Box Hill Institute’s upcoming Creativity & Technology Showcase. An information session providing punters the opportunity to chat to Box Hill Institute’s friendly teachers, explore career options and check out the state-of-the-art facilities, guests will also be privy to performances and demonstrations.
The Showcase will take place from 5pm to 7:30pm on Thursday May 27 at the Box Hill campus and will be for students who have a passion for creativity or technology, encompassing 15 courses all up. This includes Box Hill Institute’s Music, Fashion, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Photography, Hairdressing and Barbering, Visual Arts, and Social Media Marketing courses.
Exploring the Creativity & Technology Showcase a little deeper, those interested in a career in music will have the opportunity to see a special performance from Box Hill Institute’s current Music students, performing their own original composition. An expert panel of industry-experienced teachers will also come together on the night as part of the ‘Forging a Career in the Music Industry – Pathways to Industry’ forum.
If fashion is your thing, you’ll have the opportunity to try your hand at draping techniques, while those curious about the Hospitality & Culinary Arts course will be able to chat to Box Hill Institute’s School Based Apprentice Training (SBAT) students and practice some patisseries skills as well.
