Just when you thought Download 2020 couldn’t get any better.
Set to go down in March and already boasting a huge lineup featuring the likes of My Chemical Romance, Deftones, and Jimmy Eat World, Download has revealed three more acts due to hit the festival this year.
A triple hit of homegrown talent, the fresh batch of Download 2020 acts comprises Dead Letter Circus, Hellions and Orpheus Omega.
Since making their debut in 2010 with This is the Warning, Dead Letter Circus have become one of the hottest alternative rock outfits in the country. The album scored a place on triple j’s Hottest 100 Australian Albums Of All Time list, and they’ve one gotten better and better in the years since.
Fellow triple j favourites, Hellions, will also bring their dynamic, energetic live show to Download this year, where they’ll treat fans to the genre-melding sound that has cemented their position as one of the most exciting heavy bands on the scene.
Rounding out the new additions to the lineup comes Melbourne melodic death metallers, Orpheus Omega. Known for their seamless blend of catchy hooks and dark intensity, you can expect an epic mosh pit when these guys hit the stage.
