Charity, but make it rock’n’roll.

On the back of throwing two bushfire fundraiser gigs at the beginning of the week at Richmond’s Corner Hotel, Courtney Barnett and Camp Cope are continuing their efforts to support bushfire relief services by auctioning off a signed Fender Jaguar guitar.

Signed by all the artists who contributed to the bushfire benefit, including Barnett, Camp Cope, Alice Skye and DJ Fee B-Squared, the new condition Fender Jag will go to the highest bidder. With six days left on the auction, the highest bid currently sits at the $3,000 mark.

Not only is the auction an inventive way of encouraging people to dig into their pockets for a good cause, the gat makes for a pretty mean collector’s item for whoever gets to take it home.

All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Australian bushfire services.

You have until 4:28pm on Thursday January 16 to make a bid, head over to eBay to make the guitar yours.
