Aaron Chen just launched a self-isolation documentary

The king of awkward documents his 14-day mandatory lockdown after returning home from a US tour.

The hilarious awkward Aaron Chen has just launched a YouTube documentary that follows his self-isolation after recently returning home from a US tour. Confined to his sharehouse with 14 days on the clock, Inside Aaron takes a look at his everyday life and transports viewers from the theatre to Chen’s very own home in what is a hilariously-relatable series.

The documentary features Chen alongside his flatmate Rodney Todd with the editing and framing completed by 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival Barry Award winner Sam Campbell. Rising local comic Dan Rath also features prominently throughout.

As Campbell’s comedy goes, much of the series is zany and eccentric which perfectly suits to Chen’s glitchy persona. The series reaches it’s high points when Chen is at his most uneasy; he then goes missing and Todd attempts desperately to locate his whereabouts.

With this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival now no longer occurring, it seems our local comedians are slowly finding creative ways to alleviate their comedic restlessness.
