A massive electronic dance party is coming to Melbourne

Just one of many dance nights on their way.

Chelsea Heights Hotel is bringing an extra dose of electricity to Melbourne this year, with a huge night of electronic dance music kicking off mid-April.

Big Night Out is the first of a string of parties held at Chelsea Heights organised by Lucky Entertainment, promising extravagant Jay Gatsby levels of partying throughout 2019. Held on Thursday 18 April, or Good Friday Eve, the all-star roster is bringing familiar faces and worn out shoelaces — it’s going to be a very mad world.

Melburnian electronic giants such as Orkestrated, Azmac, Shortround, Keesh, Travlos, Sammy La Marca, Madeleine, Brynny and Eric Sidey will grace the decks at Chelsea Heights Hotel to usher you into Good Friday with the sickest beats and grooviest tunes. Lucky Entertainment has been behind events like Ultra Australia, Riva Down Under, and Light at Crown among others.

From chart-topping electro bangers, pulsating psy-trance, techno hits and underground creations, the lineup ranges from experienced veterans to up-and-comers. They’ve shaped the local scene with their sounds and performances, and many have achieved cult followings through SoundCloud stardom and bedroom producing. On top of its already lavish lineup, there’ll be drink specials throughout the entire night. What’s more, if your birthday falls within a week before or after the event, you’re eligible for free entry.

A lineup this immense will surely command a crowd that’s befitting of its status. Orkestrated, one of the main headliners, are the duo often dubbed the ‘Godfathers of Melbourne Sound’, whilst huge names like Keesh or Sammy La Marca have been touring massive international festivals across South-East Asia and Stereosonic. Talents like Short Round, who’s amassed six-figure replays in a matter of weeks with his mixes, as well as Travlos, resident DJ at JUNGLE since its inception, will be hitting the decks as well.
