Who announces a Tasmania date first, huh?
You may remember a little while ago when we mentioned Mos Def would be coming to Australia? Well now he’s locked in a Melbourne date for all Victoria fans.
The prolific rapper hasn’t visited Australian shores since 2006, and has been extremely busy ever since. He’s continued his acting career, released two new albums, and collaborated with his Black Star co-conspirator Talib Kweli, Kanye West, Gorillaz, and the Black Keys’ BlakRoc project. Word on the street is that these shows will be something special.
Mos Def hits the Palace on Friday January 14.
