Zoo Twilights has delivered its ridiculously juicy 2020 program

Stereolab

Good tunes for a good cause.

The iconic outdoor concert series which envelopes Melbourne Zoo each summer, Zoo Twilights, has just dropped its 2020 program and it’s certain to have you salivating.

A genre-spanning, intergenerational extravaganza, the bill is lead by Aussie rock royals ICEHOUSE, soul-R&B queen Mavis Staples and English-French art-pop pioneers Stereolab, fresh off the back of a decade long hiatus. In a double-decker announcement, Stereolab have also been announced for Golden Plains’ 2020 lineup.

Zoo Twilights will also welcome Weyes Blood, Julia Jacklin, Mildlife, Missy Higgins, Confidence Man, Toots & Maytals, Randy Newman, The Cat Empire, Methyl Ethel, Meg Mac and 10cc to the stage across the series.

As always, Zoo Twilights is a means of raising money for endangered Australian wildlife, with the 2020 series donating all proceeds to protecting mountain pygmy-possums. There are fewer than 2,000 of these critically-endangered creatures left in the wild, a product of climate change, loss of habitat and predators such as feral cats.
