Celebrating their seventh studio album.
Homegrown rockers You Am I have revealed they’ll be playing two Aussie shows ahead of their European tour.
The outfit will be playing one show each in Melbourne and Sydney in early September. They’ll also be releasing their seventh studio album, Convicts, on 180-gram vinyl for the first time. Punters can expect a bunch of tracks from Convicts to be played at their September shows, in addition to “much much more”.
On recording the album, You Am I said they “stuck [themselves] in a room and wrestled with some toons” in order to put Convicts together.
“We listened back lately; we like it. So, we’re releasing it on LP for the first time and playing some shows. Because we like it.”
