WinterWild Apollo Bay is reborn in 2018. Draw your last gasp and take your first breath on two weekends in August that celebrate the themes of death and birth.

Compositions for instrument and voice can be heard after dark in the local church, or immerse yourself in a series of concert events at Laughing Death in Apollo Bay’s oldest venue, The Mechanics Institute.

Moksha wakes up the Otways with a late night electronic and experimental installment including Null, Post Percy, Various Asses, Big Yawn, Exotic Snake, Golden syrup, WARS, Nina Buchanan and Simon J Karis.

Finucane and Smith bring dancehall burlesque, while sacrifice and rebirth will be performed in an opening parade throughout town and by the light of beachside bonfires.

Fire-cooked meats, the town’s best local produce and curated winter cocktails will keep you warm while you explore curated galleries, take soundscape walking tours of the Otways rainforest, or settle in for an after-dark outdoor cinema.

Stay tuned for the rest of the lineup, dropping soon.
