Following on from Jemaine Clement and Taiki Waititi’s 2014 film of the same name, FX series What We Do In The Shadows is set to hit our screens soon – giving viewers a glimpse of the forthcoming series with two teasers.
Following a similar narrative to the original, What We Do In The Shadows follows three vampire roommates Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Lazslo (Matt Berry) and Nandor (Kayvan Novak) and their human familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillen) through the antics of life as immortal beings sharing one roof. Veteran TV writer Paul Simms (Flight of the Conchords, Atlanta, Girls) is steering the ship, with help from the original film’s writers and stars Clement and Waititi lending a helping hand.
While the OG vampires Vladislav and Viago may show up in the series, Clement and Waititi warn we might be waiting a while for their cameos. What We Do In The Shadows is due for release next year. Until then, check out the season one teaser below.
