Video premiere: Gio reveals a powerfully raw clip for ‘Your Face’

With a debut this strong, you’ll want to keep an eye on Gio.

Less than a week after releasing his first original single, ‘Your Face’, into the world, troubadour Giovanni ‘Gio’ Agosta has revealed the film clip for the new track.

Letting the heart of the track shine, the film clip simply documents Gio recording the acoustic track in Allan Eaton Studios. Warm, dreamy lighting and intimate close-ups mingle with the song’s sentiment, pulling you into Gio’s world until the pain he sings of is palpable.

‘Your Face’ is an embodiment of lost love and the memories left behind. Watching Gio perform, it’s clear to see the rawness of his words, elevating the power of the heartfelt lyrics into a whole other dimension.

Having embraced music at the age of 12 before making his start with longtime collaborator Injoy two years later, Gio’s solo foray has been a long time coming. ‘Your Face’ is the first taste of Gio’s forthcoming EP, set to drop in early 2020.
