Last night, PBS 106.7FM kicked off this year’s instalment of their live-to-air performance series, Drive Live, with a stellar lineup of Big Yawn, Danika Smith with choir, and Sleep D.

The Melbourne singer-songwriter has been making strides since landing herself a place as a triple j Unearthed finalist back in 2011. Dropping her new single ‘Suit of Armour’ last year, featuring textural, layered vocals and a cathartic rhythm, it’s clear to see Smith is one to watch.
Blending acoustic arrangements, soulful elements and bold lyrics, Smith’s folk-flavoured sound is delicate and powerful all at once. Don’t just take our word for it, check out her breathtaking Drive Live performance below.
