Social distancing has us all missing human interaction and gravitating to social media and online exchanges more than ever. To help bridge the gap we’re all experiencing, we’ve launched a new Instagram Live interview series.
Hosted by comedian, podcaster and Beat contributor Fergus Neal, Ferg Goes Live With will feature interviews with everyone from musicians and comedians to the Co-Founder of Netflix and an acclaimed moral philosopher.
It kicked off on Thursday last week where we welcomed The Rubens on board for a chat, picking their brain about what lockdown has got them doing and how they’re managing. Tonight, we invite rising Aussie-Sri Lankan comedian Dilruk Jayasinha to get involved.
Jayasinha was set to perform his new show Victorious Lion at the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, one which drew accolades from blog The Clothes Line for being “raw, warm and honest” when he performed it at Adelaide Fringe in February. The show came after a huge 2019 for Jayasinha, one where he performed sell-out shows around the country and the world, including the invite-only Just For Laughs in Montreal.
