The legendary Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore has announced a matinee In Conversation session with ABC Radio’s Jacinta Parsons.
The chat with Parsons promises to spill the beans on his storied career, with reference to his recent forays into film.
Moore’s visit is anchored by his involvement with the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), performing new live scores to four short films by seminal Ukrainian-American filmmaker Maya Deren.
Moore’s last musical release was with the Thurston Moore Group back in 2017, entitled Rock and Roll Conciousness.
Thurston Moore will be in conversation with Jacinta Parsons at Plenary 3, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday August 3. Tickets are available via the Wheeler Centre now.
