There’s a funk and disco night hitting Brunswick for bushfire relief

After a successful run in 2019, Sydney Road’s ultimate night of funk, disco, house and hip hop returns.

Fulfilling all your late-night dancing needs, with records spinning until 3am, Social Disco proved hugely popular amongst groovers in its inaugural year.

Back for another round, the party will have punters flocking to the dancefloor with its mix of disco, funk, house, hip hop and classic guilty pleasures once again. Designed to feel like a house party, Social Disco is a laidback affair dedicated to killer tunes and even better dance moves.

Because it isn’t a disco without a little sparkle, Social Disco also has a glitter station available in the front bar from 10pm to have you looking the part. The dress code is ‘shiny’, after all.

This week’s event will see DJs Bec Bartlett, ALXF, Sharyn Brand and Oscar Milde behind the decks, so be prepared to turn one out on the dancefloor. There is also full accessibility to ensure no groovers are left out of this party.

To celebrate the first disco of the year and to raise money for a cause close to everyone’s hearts, Social Disco will donate 100 per cent of profits from this weekend’s event to the Wildlife Victoria bushfire appeal.

The first Social Disco for 2020 comes to Stay Gold on Friday January 17. More info here
