The Wool Store returns for another huge electronic warehouse party

The energy of a European rave, but in Melbourne.

Electronic rave event The Wool Store is returning to Melbourne this May, featuring a lineup of homegrown and international acts.

Run by the same people who organise Beyond the Valley and XE54, The Wool Store is held in a massive, decked out warehouse in West Footscray. This year’s party is headlined by beloved UK DJ Jamie Jones. The producer is no stranger to the European music world, having earned himself a residency at Ibiza’s DC10 nightclub for Monday’s Circoloco parties. Jones was also a prominent figure in the mid-2000s East London warehouse party scene.

Joining Jones on the lineup is German singer-songwriter Meggy, Made in Paris, A Friend of Marcus and Melbourne up-and-comer Jordan Brando. The philosophy behind The Wool Store is to take the essence of the European rave scene and bring it to Melbourne. So it looks like there’s no need for that pricey trip to Europe after all.
