The mesmerising exhibition celebrating Mother Nature and humanity

The great outdoors meets the canvas.

Melbourne-based artist Mike Makatron has used the world as his canvas throughout his career, having left his mark as a street artist on cities all over the globe. However, with his fifth exhibition, Hanging Gardens of Makatron, he hones his vision into a series of canvas works, along with sculptures and installations.

Coming to Collingwood’s On The Corner Gallery this December, Hanging Gardens of Makatron abandons Makatron’s penchant for large-scale murals to focus on more intimate mediums. Having travelled the world as an artist, Makatron has accumulated a wealth of inspiration for his latest works which depict humans, animals and Mother Nature through an explosion of vivid colour and striking realism.

The exhibition explores the human condition by reflecting on our surroundings and how we find our place in life, no doubt something everyone can relate to.

Hanging Gardens of Makatron comes to OTC Gallery from Thursday December 5 until Monday December 9. For more information, check out the Facebook event page
