The trailer for The Cure’s 40th anniversary concert film has dropped

The trailer for concert film The Cure – Anniversary 1978-2018 Live in Hyde Park London has been unveiled ahead of its release in July.

The iconic gig in London marked 40 years of the band performing as The Cure, and 65,000 fans flocked to Hyde Park to celebrate. Their performance landed them critical acclaim from British media, with The Independent calling it “a perfect set”.

The Cure recently wrapped up a Sydney stint in May after heading Down Under for VividLIVE. Fans who were keen to catch the UK goth rockers had to enter a ballot in order to secure tickets.

Cinemas around the world are gearing up to screen the film, including a large number in Australia’s capital and regional cities.

The Cure’s concert film lands in cinemas on Thursday July 11. For more info on which cinemas are screening the film, head to the film’s website.
