Something For Kate, Jet’s Nic Cester and more revealed for live streamed concert

The next State of Music live streamed gig is a beauty.

Following on from last week’s lineup of Hoodoo Gurus, The Angels, Ella Hooper, The Teskey Brothers and more, Mushroom Group and the Victorian government’s weekly performance series The State of Music has prepared yet another fantastic bill.

Airing on Friday May 29 at 7:30pm, the fifth instalment of the live streamed concert series will some of Australia’s biggest names in music including the likes of Something For Kate, Jet’s Nic Cester alongside his band The Milano Elettrica as well as The Rubens, Odette, Joe Camilleri & The Black Sorrows, Lime Cordiale, Mansionair, Fergus James and Abby Dobson, among others.

Four episodes in, The State of Music has already captured the widespread imagination and interest of Australians, bringing the likes of Paul Kelly, Courtney Barnett, Birds of Tokyo, G Flip, Kate Miller-Heidke, Missy Higgins, Montaigne, Vika & Linda Bull and more to our screens.

Nova’s Tim Blackwell will jump on hosting duties for this one alongside radio legend Jane Gazzo – Gazzo will be hosting from the Australian Music Vault, located with Arts Centre Melbourne.
