The Smith Street Band are throwing their own mini festival

Celebrating their entire career, joined by mates they’ve made along the way.

On the back of the biggest year yet for The Smith Street Band, the lauded Australian act have announced their inaugural Pool House Party – taking over the Coburg Velodrome, complete with two stages of music.

The rise of the Smithies has been unstoppable. From The Old Bar to The Forum Theatre, the band has done nothing but go from strength to strength – garnering legions of fans in the process.

The Pool House Party will feature a headline set from the band, as well as a selection of bands and artists they’ve made ties with throughout their time together.

Of course, there’ll be a couple of Melbourne’s favourite food trucks along for the ride too, as well as some carnival rides thrown in for good measure.

If all that wasn’t enough, The Smith Street Band have today released a brand new video for ‘Passiona’ – the fourth single from their acclaimed album More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me.

“We shot the video on a lovely sunny day about a week ago,” said frontman Wil Wagner. “We meandered around the streets of Footscray before driving out to a tiny town called Korweinguboora at the base of The Wombat State Forest for a bit of bush cricket and a barbeque.”
