Making the most out of their first time Down Under
Detroit four-piece The Saboteurs have announced two east coast sideshow gigs ahead of their Bluesfest performance in April. It will be the outfit’s first performance in Australia ever, and their first gig in the world since 2011.
Known as The Raconteurs outside of Australia, The Saboteurs made their debut as a mixture of multiple high-profile bands. Jack White (The White Stripes) joins Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather), Patrick Keeler (The Greenhornes) and Brendan Benson in a high-octane supergroup that has kept fans hooked since 2006.
The Saboteur’s addition to the massive Bluesfest 30th anniversary lineup was announced in December. To top off the Bluesfest announcement, The Saboteurs released their first music in over a decade.
