The venue is going out with a bang.
Warrnambool joint The Loft has revealed who will be seeing the venue off for its eighth Arockalypse music event.
A massive 36 acts will be performing on Sunday June 9, all of whom have rocked out at The Loft during its 15 years of operation. Notable acts on the bill include Dallas Frasca, Abbe May, King of the North and The Pretty Littles. Three stages will be up and running to make sure the venue squeezes out as much music as possible before doors close for good.
It was revealed in February that The Loft would be closing down, citing increased competition among venues and a decline in live music culture. While the venue may be shutting, venue managers have said Arockalypse will live on.
