Music Victoria is hosting a special In Conversation event as part of Leaps and Bounds Music Festival.

Wondering how live music venues are going to bounce back from the pandemic? Curious about what the mandatory four-square-metre restriction means for a bandroom that’s usually crammed with punters?

Well, all your answers are about to be answered as part of an In Conversation event being hosted by Music Victoria as part of Leaps and Bounds Music Festival. Going down via Zoom on Tuesday June 16, some of Melbourne’s most accomplished music professionals will come together to chew the fat about the current prospects of live music venues in a socially restricted world and how they’re planning for post-lockdown.

Moderated by 170 Russell booker Ben Thompson, the talk will see Old Bar owner Liam Matthews, renowned venue booker Jas Moore, booking agent Rebecca Young, Forum Theatre commercial manager Sally Mather and beloved artist Kira Puru come together to talk about the state of live music.

Are you ready for gigs to return? Well, this is the In Conversation event for you.

The free talk goes down from 6pm on Tuesday June 16 via Zoom. Reserve your spot via the Leaps and Bounds Music Festival website.

Leaps and Bounds Music Festival goes down from Thursday June 11 to Saturday June 20. Check out all the events and grab tickets via the festival website.
