Melbourne Museum’s Nocturnal has joined forces with record label Our Golden Friend to present RVG, Jess Ribeiro, Jade Imagine and Totally Mild on Friday May 4.
As well as awesome live music, Noctural welcomes everyone to tour the exhibitions with drinks in hand so that visitors can experience something educational from their visit – even if the alcohol means they forget it the next day.
The Museums Victoria Live Exhibits team will have on display golden silk orb weavers and other species as well as an example of the geology of gold and how scientists use it to scan microscopic creatures from beneath the sea.
Visitors can also head downstairs to see Vikings: Beyond the Legend, an exhibition of gold worshippers featuring more than 450 original artefacts.
The entire museum and galleries will be open till midnight.
