The genre-blending Orchestra of Doom announce Aussie shows

Orchestra of Doom

Black Sabbath and Mozart together at last.

Hear us out: iconic heavy metal tunes, performed by an orchestra, live. This is what the Orchestra of Doom has in store when it makes its way to Melbourne and Sydney later this year.

Born from a love of the metal genre, Ugly Kid Joe frontman Whitfield Crane has merged the unlikely pair in a show that’s already proved to be a sellout. Joined by Philharmonia Australia Orchestra, the show will feature songs from Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne and Ugly Kid Joe, to name just a few.

With a 35-piece orchestra bringing together what seem like two polar opposite genres, it’ll definitely be one to tell your mates about.

Check out the tour dates for Orchestra of Doom below:

Tuesday December 3 — Palais Theatre, Melbourne VIC

Saturday December 7 — Darling Harbour Theatre, Sydney NSW

Tickets go on sale Thursday July 25 via Ticketmaster (Melbourne) or Ticketek (Sydney).
