Perth based rockers The Faim are embarking on their first Australian national tour in three years, bringing songs from their new album ‘Talk Talk’ to Melbourne on July 30.

The Faim, named after the French word for ‘hunger’, are bringing their passion and joie-de-vivre back to Australia for the first time in three years. Right off the back of their 26 date tour of Europe, this announcement comes alongside the release of their highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album, Talk Talk, that’s set to be released on July 8. With their single ‘The Hills’ already amassing over one million YouTube views and counting, Talk Talk and its subsequent tour is not one to be missed.

Playing at massive festivals across Europe such as Reading & Leeds Festival, Slam Dunk Festival, and Lollapalooza Berlin, The Faim are becoming juggernauts of Australian music export. Having written and worked with the likes of Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, Mark Hoppus of blink-182, Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots and Ashton Irwin of 5 Seconds of Summer, The Faim have bought their unique Australian charm to their music making process.

Hot off the back of their 26 date UK and EU tour, The Faim are excited to bring their show back to the homeland. “We are so excited to finally be on the road in Australia after three very long years! It’s always incredible to get to play some of our favourite venues in our home country and see so many familiar faces that have supported us since the start,” says the band’s own Steven Beerkens. “We can’t wait to play songs from our new album “Talk Talk” live – and, of course, the ‘State of Mind’ tracks we’ve never played before in Australia! Hope to see you there!”

Talk Talk will be available worldwide from Friday July 8. For more information about the band and to secure tickets to their upcoming tour, head here.
