The extended ‘Avengers: Endgame’ film is coming to Aussie cinemas

Avengers fans, (re)assemble!

The newly-extended Avengers: Endgame film will be making its way to cinemas later this month — just in case you needed an excuse to see the film for a second (or third) time.

The extended cut was confirmed by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige in an interview with Comic Book earlier this month.

“We are doing that,” Feige said in the interview.

“I don’t know if it’s been announced. And I don’t know how much… Yeah, we’re doing it next weekend.”

The re-release of Endgame comes with less than ten minutes of extra film time, cementing its length well past the 180-minute mark. Stocking up on soft drink before the movie probably isn’t a bright idea if you’re planning on watching the entire thing without any bathroom breaks.

It was unclear whether the marathon screening would be making its way to Aussie shores. But since the announce by Feige, Event Cinemas has posted on Facebook to share the good news.

“We can confirm… THIS IS HAPPENING! Avengers (re)Assemble!” it said.

“Tickets will be ON SALE [Monday June 24].”

The extended Avengers: Endgame film will land in cinemas on Saturday June 29.
