The East Pointers have added even more dates to their massive Australian tour

The Canadian folk trio will hit 14 venues and festivals over the coming weeks.

Fresh off the back of sold-out tours in Canada and the UK, as well as a string of Australian gigs across January, The East Pointers have announced a heap of new shows as part of their Aussie Summer run.

Making their way to 14 venues and festivals around the country, the newly-announced shows will see the trio hitting Northcote Social Club in April after selling out their January appearance at the venue.

The tour comes in the wake of The East Pointers’ acclaimed 2019 album Yours To Break, which saw the band garner rave reviews for their genre-bending sound which melds traditional elements of folk with contemporary pop hooks and dance-party vibes.

Having raised over $5,000 for Red Cross Australia’s bushfire relief efforts with their shows last month, The East Pointers hope to give back to the fans that have shown them support with the new batch of gigs.

“We’re inspired to be back on the road, giving Australia everything we’ve got,” said the band’s banjo, tenor, guitar and moog player Koady Chaisson.

The East Pointers come to Northcote Social Club on Friday April 24. For tickets and dates for all upcoming shows, head to the band’s website
