The Dolphin Show deliver a bruising punk number with the outspoken ‘Fuck off Dad’

A roaring new track from the Sydney punk outfit.

Sydney’s The Dolphin Show have returned with a new single – their first release since 2018’s ‘Pokie Fiend’. Titled ‘Fuck off Dad’, the track is self-explanatory, speaking of the irritation that can come between a competing father and son.

But don’t take the track too literally, all boys have had biffs with their old man – it’s just a mild hello to the testosterone that runs through us.

The song comes alongside a new clip starring Larry Eastwood and Rory Suttor, and begins in backyard where a makeshift gym takes centre stage. As a boy works out, the clip cuts back to what can be presumed as his father, yelling the song’s lyrics straight at the camera. Rahhhhh!

The track is the first single to be lifted off the band’s forthcoming EP, Thick Black Brain Blood, set for release in mid-2020. If the helter-skelter 100-second ‘Fuck off Dad’ is any indication, there could be more brazen, forthright punk to come from the Sydney band.

Bring it on!
