The Chemical Brothers announce first Aussie tour dates in six years

With The Avalanches in tow.

Electronic duo The Chemical Brothers have announced a handful of Aussie tour dates for later on this year. The plans to head Down Under follow the release of their ninth studio album, No Geography, and immense praise for their accompanying tour performance.

It’s the first time the UK outfit have touched down in Australia since 2013, so it’s been a long time coming. Since then, they’ve been keeping busy by releasing a number of singles and playing sold-out shows around the world.

To round out the announcement, The Chemical Brothers will be joined by another dynamic duo: The Avalanches. Their most recent record, Wildflower, was released in 2016. Even though it takes a fair bit of time to put together an Avalanches album, a new record was hinted at back in 2018. Perhaps some new tracks will be flaunted in their upcoming DJ sets.

Check out the full list of dates below:

Thursday October 31 — Riverstage, Brisbane QLD

Saturday November 2 — The Dome, Sydney Showground, Sydney NSW

Tuesday November 5 — Melbourne Arena, Melbourne VIC

General sale for The Chemical Brothers’ Aussie tour begins Thursday May 9 via Frontier Touring.
